June 30, 2013 is the deadline to submit application for the Contracting Classification Premium Adjustment Program (CCPAP) to the NCCI. Participating states include Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.

- 12/3/2012 - 2013 Policy Renewal Information is now available online. Copies have been mailed to each policyholder.
- 12/7/2011 - IMPORTANT NOTICE
Kansas has approved a modified NCCI Loss Cost Filing effective 1/1/2012. The revised rates will be updated in our system and reflected on our website by the end of the business day on Friday, December 9th. If this is completed sooner we will release another notice on our website. Revised policy information, reflecting the correct and final rates for Kansas 2012 coverage, and the necessary endorsement for this change will be mailed to our policyholders the week of December 12th. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this delayed approval process by the Kansas Insurance Department.
- 11/22/2011 - 2012 policy renewal information has been mailed to policyholders and is now available to agents online.
- 11/15/2011 - Midwest Builders' Casualty has received approval to begin writing business in New Mexico. Rate and form filings are pending.
- 10/31/2011 - The Board of Directors have approved a 2011 dividend release of $1,500,000 based on the 2009 loss experience. Dividend checks will be issued in the coming weeks.
- 8/1/2011 - Rate and form filings have been completed and we can now write business in Colorado!

Builders' Mutual Casualty Company has changed its name to Midwest Builders' Casualty Mutual Company. All other information concerning the company has remained unchanged.
- 6/1/2008 - Midwest Builders' Casualty will begin operations on July 1, 2008
Builders’ Association Self-Insurers’ Fund of Kansas and Missouri (BASIF) will cease operations at midnight on June 30, 2008. The 2008 Certificate of Coverages issued by BASIF will be assumed by Midwest Builders' Casualty and the policies will maintain the calendar year anniversary date. Extensive progress has been made towards gaining approval in states other than Kansas and Missouri for workers’ compensation. We hope to have 8 additional approved filings by year-end.
- 5/1/2008 - Exciting News Update!
BASIF is on track to for a conversion to a mutual insurance company; Builders' Mutual Casualty Company. The conversion will take place on July 1st, 2008.
- 4/1/2008 - Online Monthly Payroll Reporting Functionality Now Available!
The BASIF website now allows for the automatic calculation of the required monthly payroll reporting forms. The system allows the insured access to their most current experience modification rate, discounts, and adjustment factors in addition to automatically making the necessary calculations to determine total premium to be remitted.
